Use of ICT ESGikonko

Use of ICT in ESGikonko became the culture. Students use ICT in learning and constructing new knowledge. ICT is considered the backbone in Rwandan Education Sytem.





In 21st Centry Learning Design(21st CLD), Use of ICT is one of the six dimensions of 21st CLD. Due to this trend emergency Rwanda Basic Education Board(REB) has developed the platform that will be helping in e-Learning. It is in this regard the school has put much effort in using ICT not only by teachers but mainly by students in constructing new knowledges.

Teachers in ESGikonko have been given one laptop per teacher by Rwanda Basics Education Board(REB).
